Hi dave I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze you in the back of the van but you might have to sit in your kayak...... at least you'll be able to pratise your support strokes as I go round the bends :D

Oh yes if anyone needs a nearby campsite try penrhyn bay on 01407 730496 it is right next to sandy beach and as it's bigger may still have space and you'll only be 2 min's away

Hi All
I tried to reserve a pitch without electric at the Penrhyn site and none available but phoned Valley of the Rocks and there is availability.
No need to book.

right, high tide is 1am sat am and is 10.14m so some of us are paddling the beast, we're getting on at 11pm fri eve. if you are coming Don't come if you cant roll confidently and consistently on moving water!!

Bring Glow Sticks!!!! you will need them as it will be dark and we need to find bodies, paddles and boats of swimmers in the dark.

we paddle it in next to no light, we might put a head torch on the wave if the moon is not out. you get a better sense of satisfaction from doing it this way and letting your night vision kick in.

the swellies is also going off on the watr at 21 15 access through the grave yard at menai. again it will be going dark but this one has more severe consequences for a mistake as it flows back out to sea rather than into and inland lake.

may see you there or out with the masses on sat lunch time

take it easy

What a cracking good weekend that was....even the weather was on our side, the water was superb ,the beer flowed freely and the golf balls went straight...ish :D If you missed it then you missed OUT.
Plenty of photos to go in the calender ( or bribe people with ) he he..... it's just a shame david was so pathetic on stanleys wave , still he's only young he's got lots of time to improve
