you may need toilet papaer if you get ill again like last time.

If i was you, i would look at staying at the camp site next to the Durance Slalom course at Aregntier al a Besse, or the campsite at the confluence with the Gyronde/Durance These location puts you in a good base to hit all the major big river runs, approx 15-20 min drive from Gyr, Onde, Guil, Guisane, Gyronde, Claree, Romanche, but not forgetting the Durance and the Briancon and Durance gorge sections. Also if you drive up Guil Valley and cross over Col du Vars it drops you into the Upper Ubaye Valley, approx 35 min drive.

You also need to be thinking of booking your channel crossing, either Ferry or Tunnel. You need to be booking by the end of march latest to make significant savings.

On top of that if you take your climbing harnesses and a set of cows tails there are several Via ferrata's easily accessible for free after 6pm for you to
do before it goes dark.

Also at the top of the Fontane valley there is a great little gorge to go waterfall jumping/gorge scrambling in.

Well im thinking the campsite we stayed at last time, so yes you may need toilet paper:p That costs 5.80 eruos a night (Which works out at £5.33 at the current exchange rate). The Dates Are 12th to 22nd of July. The options are we can hire a 15 seat minibus + Van which will cost us 1080.69 for hire and ferry cost, theres aslo £500 deposit and also £10 per day for aditional drivers. I may be able to get a discount on the hire cost though. Then theres petrol on top of that obviously. Its 930 miles to L'argentiere so we will probably use about 2200 miles of petrol at a guess.
The other option is to go in cars. Which will cost £50 per car for the ferry + petrol + adding a second driver? which will vary for your insurance company.

I reckon if there's more than 10 people going it's worth getting a minibus and a van. But i need to know who's definately going. You also need to be over 21 to drive the hire vehicles so I need 2 other people who are deffinately going to be second drivers on either the minibus or the van. Noone has Emailed me to confirm they are going! So if you are interested in going please EMAIL me! or send me a message on here or facebook or text message, also if you know someone who is wanting to go and they dont look on here please let them know!.
