Coolness
:D
Looking forward to it already!
slight change of plan folks the ski slope was fully booked on the 8th so i've booked now for the 15th april 4o'clock till 5.30 but you have to be there at 3.30 to get changed into ski boots etc. You have to wear suitable clothing arms and legs covered and you must wear gloves too. We'll still be going for a curry followed by plenty of beer around wigan afterwards, I'll be booking an indian in town for around 8 o'clock to give you all time to get back. Oh yes..don't wear anything to nice for skiing lessons as it WILL involve lots of falling over now where did I put my camera.....:D

Jen knows the name of the one I was on about, I keep forgetting it's name
It's very close to the centre and really nice, and is not far to stumble into town ;)
Apparantly (as me and Jen were discussing tonight!) there's one on Robin Park where you take your own beer......
hi, there is a curry place called the spice house in the centre, right near wetherspoons, or one behind the church but not sure of name, could find out tommorow tho! see ya'll soon

the one in the centre that sarah was on about (near the parish church on hallgate) is called shundrabon (dunno how to spell it though)....the food there is usually pretty good.
not been to the spice house before so dunno what that is like.
And the new one at robin park where u have to take ur own alcohol is called jamals and thats meant to be pretty good.
:)
oohh dont know whether im more exited about the skiing or the curry!!
I can't wait to take photos of you all.......he he:D

Typically (from what I remember) it was about £8 for your currry. About £4 for the sauce, £3/4 for the rice, and then whatever else you want. And your drinks. Which can make it expensive!
But remember, this is only what I remember! And I don't really remember much!
I'll check tomorrow and repost, cause I'll be at work and I'll be able to check
sarah

I checked....
The curry will cost around £8
Any extras (naan bread etc) are around £2 each
Drinks were also about £2.50
and they do english food too!
sorted
Hey there fellow 'fun gang ' members the weather is picking up for us ..saturday is forecast brilliant sunshine , cracking the flags at 30 degree's C .......perfect for spending a bit of time falling over and thats before the beers start flowing . Don't forget you need to get there by 3.30 to get booked in and fitted with skis and boots, anyone needing directions can contact me...... If you're just coming for the beer & curry in wigan we're meeting at the' moon on the water ' pub in town centre near top of king street between 7 and 8 ......be there or be square:cool:
what about if your just going for the curry and not the beer?

should be a very good day with the weather... cant wait to go
sarah

That's a good point, David, cause there's every chance that they won't let you in if they think you're underage. I think that children have to be off the premises by 6pm. Unfortunately that goes for all the places in wigan, so I dunno
Maybe if you're not drinking beer, you could just meet up outside the Moon under Water between 10-5 to 8? At least that way, you're meeting up with us before we go, and there'll be no confusions as to where this place is!
I dunno, any other ideas then feel free to go for it!
See you all then :D
if they wont let me in i'll prank you on your mobile sarah.
Jim T
04-14-2006, 01:59 PM
well i think the point of pranking a mobile phone is to make sure that the pranked person doesnt know who it is!:D
it dont matter i cnt be bothered using my money, and what else would you call it?
sarah

Have you got Andys number too? My phone is brilliant at refusing to charge up. It's been on charge all night, and has 1 bar of battery and is dinging away telling me it needs to be charged. If mine doesn't work, ring Andy!
Don't tell him to prank my phone sarah .....I only answer serious calls:p See you all later
Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, I'll have the photo's up on the gallery as soon as possible then I'll be taking names for the next one.....oh by the way girls if I didn't get around to dancing with anyone I'll try and make up for it next time:cool:
