Hi All
We have provisionally booked the Salasian Sisters Centre in the Lakes for the 3* course as we couldn't get any in N Wales that offered us Sole usage.
I know that 15+ individuals were up for it at the last meeting so if people could let me know for definite by the next meeting on Thurs 17th numbers etc,we can start to organise.
The centre will take 24 so if we fill it it should make it quite low cost.
I also think we should sort out some fun and games for the evening.
How about you young uns sorting something out? Karaoke perhaps
As a reminder ,the dates are Fri 15th - 17thFeb
Could people let me know if they wish to do the 3* assessment or not.
Tel 01942769812 for further info

Hi Eric,
Count me in as long as I dont have to do the assessment, I doubt that I would get as far as 2 star now !

"A Kayak is not something you sit in to travel down rivers, its something you wear while you crash through the rapids upside down"
I quite like some of the definitions that they give on www.urbandictionary.com

anyone that has done this sort of thing before can u give me and idea of what to take.
good clothes/old clothes, water proofs *food*?
(really important i get a reply)
you will need the clothes that you would normally wear when going paddling - warm and comfortable. I think we may be eating out on Saturday night so something suitable for a pub meal but nothing fancy. As for food you will need a packed lunch for sat and sun, I think breakfast is being provided?
yep breakfast is being provided with the cost split between everyone.
I thought that the club was providing breakfast? meat costs more that vege food anyway or are there going to be lotsa lovely eggs? ha!
how much is it going to cost for accomodation anyway?
looking forward to it just hope there's a bit of rain!
see ya then
It will be £7.50 per person per night. nope breakfast is being bought by mick and then the cost divided. are you not thinking of the meal on saturday where the club pays a bit towards it?

No rain forecast this week. Lune / Kent were at a lovely level on Sunday but the 3* is going to be the usual scrape.
Watch out for that new boat Jen !
will bring you some bubble wrap to help protect it jen. :p
