doesn't look like theres going to be much water but i might be up to it. where you thinking of going?

Depends really on who wants to go, The Dee and Kent nearly always have water and can be cycle shuttled, if 2 cars go it widens the scope a bit, maybe Lune, any other suggestions ?

there the only ones that usualy run without much water that I can think of. reckon they will have the heating on? :p

I have a heater / air con in my boat, don't you ? , yours must be an inferior boat !

Plenty of water in the Dee at present, 7 on the guage so that looks favourite. Can you get a lift to/from our house on Sunday ?

Dave, Jim & self ran the Dee, Serpents Tail to Town Falls. Water very cold, air very cold but a good paddle. Plenty of water, 6 on the guage. Made Serpents seem much longer than normal. Jim, on his first run on this section was caught out on the stopper at the end of Serpents but a very quick roll soon got him out of trouble.

Long play at the Mill, Jim and Dave seemed impervious to the cold (where there's no sense...........etc ?) , Frank had a side surf but kept dry.

On to Town Falls, big decision for Frank, Chicken run river left or the big drop river right? took the right and made it look hard as usual and had to roll on the way down, water was too cold to faff about and straight up. Dave and Jim made it look easy.

See you all on the Christmas Paddle, choose somewhere with warm water !
