Having loaded my boat up the last 2 Friday nights ,and then finding out Sat
morning i was too ill to paddle, i am hoping to turn out this coming weekend.
The forecast says we will get rain later in the week.So if anyone fancies a Trip,in particular i am thinking of Mick who has been in the same situation as me, then let me know and we can organise something.SteveH.

A party comprising Eric, David, Natalie, Kevin, Andy (Wood) and self ran the Roeburn. Driving up the valley ,the River Lune was out of its banks but the Roeburn had only just enough water to run it !

Its a very steep, shallow run with a lot of fallen trees in the water to add to the tension. Probably just about grade 3 at that level, but continuous with no breaks, a lot of rocks and trees to avoid ( or not !). A grade 4 (just about at that level) drop which could not be portaged gave David a chance to show off his skills whilst everyone else ran a much easier line (with a 4foot vertical slot /drop )A few swims, pins & a rescue from a tree made for a very busy & entertaining paddle.

Hailstones just as the shuttle returned added to the variety of weather experienced. Thanks to Vicky for running the shuttle.
