afraid i'm busy this week Frank.....you missed a good paddle last week , Will,Cathy,Phil (lucc) Bob and myself ran the sprint which was tough and technical which involved some pretty damn quick rolls and me running second half of one rapid submarine style  Then the Kent as you saw was rather large and powerful which made a ' nice ' end to our day it's surprising how different a river feels with more water in it...... See you soon
i'm up for it frank. where were you thinking of going?

Cracking days paddling. Bob, David & self linked up with Will & big Kev + a gang of WIll's uni mates (17 in the group in all). We ran the middle & lower Duddon, The Leven ( everyone did Backbarrow bridge, mostly in the submarine position) and the the Kent. Plenty of water but the rivers were not at silly levels.
Thanks especially to Will for keeping us in order and encouraging me to do things which I did not think I could (esp Backbarrow Bridge)[url]http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/levenbackbarrow.htm[/url.] no one ran the ugly weir, it really is ugly

the wier isn't that bad really (I would of run it). too bad they didn't get a picture of my loop at backbarrow bridge :( that was a great drop.
