HPP is a good place to practice river running skills such as breaking in /out & ferry gliding, practice rolling and for the more adventurous a good place for playboating. Not a very long course and the water quality is poor. The eddy lines are difficult. It is a good place for non paddling spectators as there is a concrete path all the way down both sides of the course.
